Bumblebee Movie Deluxe '76 Camaro Problem?

I bought a '76 Camaro Bumblebee Movie Deluxe at my Toys R Us and the front of the car would not go down. I only got to press it once when I bought it and now it won't go back up no matter what I do. It will only stay up if I tape it together. What should I do?

First, I'd like to point out that the Bumblebee toy you refer to is supposed to be a '74 Camaro not a '76 as you suggest (several sites indicate it as such but check out the first link below for reference). As for your problem, if you still have the receipt, return it to Toys "R" Us, explain the problem and ask for an exchange or a refund. You may not be able to get an even trade, given the limited availability of the figure. Honestly, I'm not surprised your toy broke. Never mind that the people at Hasbro are probably laughing at you all the way to the bank because you trusted them to deliver a reliable product. I won't spend a dime on the movie toys because I think they're garbage. If you wanted to get your money's worth, you should have bought a Transformers toy produced by Takara, such as the MP-01 Convoy or some other toy from another line made by Takara. Also, you might want to get the '08 Camaro Deluxe Bumblebee toy instead. I've seen the two side-by-side and it's a better looking figure. Too bad your toy broke! Perhaps TRU will exchange it.
