What do i need to do to become an helicopter pilot?

Im in grade 10 so i have time. which subjects should i be leaning towards if i want to become a helicopter pilot? preferably an attack helicopter pilot with the air force.

You need too become a Warrant Officer within the Armed Forces too be elligable too attend Army Aviation School within the Armed Forces.

You need too be older than 18 and need too appear infront of the board that selects candidates before the age of 33, if 33 or 34 its possible to get a waiver however.

If in the US which i'm guessing you are from the word 'Grade', you need to be a US citizen for over 5 years.

You need to earn a score of 90 in the Flight Aptitude Selection Test, and 110 or better in the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery.

You will need too meet the Armed forces height and weight standards. You must be in physically good shape and cannot have a vision worse than 20/50 in each eye, you cannot be colour blind or have a problem with depth perception.

You will then have too pass the classroom instructions and you will log around 70 too 150 hours of flight time before becoming a helicopter pilot, the course takes 9 months too 1 year too complete.

@ Healthy Guy - Too go into the private sector you need too pay yourself for atleast a minimum of 70 hours helicopter flying, and a further 70 class room teachings. I assure you, 70 hours of helicopter lessons costs alot more than 5-7K.
