General Motors Place Event Tickets - Spring Into Action This Year In Vancouver!

The General Motors Place hosts tons of events and not just great hockey games, but that doesn't mean that hockey isn't the biggest draw to the stadium. Sure, John Mayer and Tim McGraw are strutting their stuff throughout this year's lineup, but for Vancouver natives the biggest attraction is the Vancouver Canucks, as the Calgary Flames take on the Vancouver Canucks April 10th. A team that has earned commercial fame lately thanks to Mike Fisher's engagement to country sweetheart Carrie Underwood, the Canucks don't need any star power to be the heroes every night. With a great season already in place – doubling their wins to losses – the team is really ready to attack as forward Ryan Kesler recently extended his contract through 2016 while forward Aaron Volpatti joins the Canadian powerhouse.

For the Calgary Flames, they are really going to have to pull out all the stops when they play on the Canucks' home ice. With Miikka Kiprusoff as the team's MVP and starting goalie, the Flames shouldn't have too much trouble taking down one of their main opponents, though with screaming Vancouver fans right at earshot, who knows how it's going to turn out. It's all up in the air as these NHL teams meet during the final games of the season this April at the General Motors Place.

Taking on a different approach to the April shows is former Dire Straits act Mark Knopfler. Headlining the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, this veteran guitar act continues to support his studio set Get Lucky with a North American tour through May. Opening up the tour April 8th in Seattle, Knopfler's second stop comes to British Columbia on April 9th. "I do get a lot of pleasure from touring and playing live," he said to Billboard last fall. "It's kind of an affirmation. It's certainly something I don't have to do financially." The sixth studio set, which appeared in September of last year, has been getting promotion from the '70s rocker for months; upon its debut, Get Lucky peaked fifth on Billboard's Top Rock chart and 17th on the Billboard 200.

This season, whether you're a Canucks fan or just want to try and catch a glimpse of Carrie Underwood, or if you're interested in "getting lucky" with Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler, the place to be is Vancouver, British Columbia. looking for a varmint rifle, relatively cheap, accurate, a good all arounder?

i have up to 600-700 dollars to spend on a varmint rifle. i was looking at Ruger's match rifle lineup, and they were really good but 1200 dollars is a little too far outside my range. im generally looking for a heavy barreled rifle, bolt action preferably, a long barrel (24" or more)...
if anybody knows where i can find a rifle close to those specs for that cost, please tell me!!!
the coyotes, they torture me!! (never closer than 500 yards)

A stevens model 200 chambered in .223 or .243 would do the trick --- This one comes with a scope and is under $400.....

I should point out it may be difficult to get a rifle in your price budget that is up to a 500 yards task.... For the kind of money you want to spend I would get closer -- 300 yards would be realistic.....

Another budget rifle that has a scope and long reach would be the Mossberg 100-ATR Night Train in .308.....
