In the World, Action Figures Are The Fastest Selling Toys Ever?
Do you know what the number one type of toy in the toy industry is? Action figures. Stunned? Every year more and more new toy companies emerge and jump onto the toy scene with their own versions of action figures. In addition, toy companies are expanding their lines. Why are these manufacturers ferociously creating more action figures? Supply and demand.
The biggest revenue grossing form of entertainment in the World is movies. Every year hundreds of movies are released in thousands of movie theaters worldwide. The promotion these movie companies give to their latest releases is gigantic; not to mention their advertising campaigns. Their business doesn?t end there. Toy manufacturers negotiate licensing agreements with the movie companies and the most in-demand toy the people wants is action figures. These action figures are sought out by collectors, children, adults, consumers, just about everybody .
What makes action figures so in-demand? Perhaps, the accessories that each action figure character includes itself with. A variety of accessories can include weapons, base stands for display, interchangeable heads with various facial expressions, tools, etc. Just about anything related to that character is going to appear as an accessory. More of the large sized figures include authentic sound bytes from the movie they star in. These quotes are direct quotes from the movie that the character has made famous.
Another angle of appeal is the attention to detail and artistry involved. Action figures are artistic creations in that these movie characters are one-dimensional. A sculptor has to re-create these fun characters to scale in a three dimensional configuration. One can only be astonished by observing the artistic integrity involved. I hate to say it, but I?ve observed that no two figures are alike. Since some figures are hand-painted, each action figure is different. Don?t get me wrong, each one will appear alike, but if you take that extra minute or two and observe, you?ll find that each one has its own unique qualities.
So, the next time you venture to your nearby movie theater and engage yourself in a new release, just remember that there is a good chance that the character or characters you?re watching on the silver screen could eventually be the next addition to your action figure collection!

well:
first off you have to ebstablish what action figures you want to collect. Star wars, Dragon Ball Z, GI Joe, and others are very popular. I've even seen some nintedo chracters like mario, Luigi, Sonic and others.
Now, your going to want to see if they are good to leave boxed or opened. There are tons and tons of sites for this
and after a while you should have a good collection!
It's a very hard thing to explain, since to me it just comes very natural. Hope I helped anyways!
