Nutritional Benefits Of Figs
Figs are well known for their mild laxative effect, so care should be exercised when consuming fig juice. Try a small quantity at first, prepared from two or three fresh figs. The laxative prepared from the more concentrated, dried figs alone is so mild that it is suitable for children, so the action of the fresh fruit should cause you no alarm. However the term, syrup of figs, is often used to describe "Compound Syrup of Figs", this stronger laxative has added senna, rhubarb and cascara extract to make it much stronger.
Fig juice is also recognized for its soothing effect on irritated bronchia: passages. This demulcent action is soothing to the inflamed mucous membranes that produce catarrh during a cold. Fresh figs are a poor source of vitamin C, but they are a better source of vitamin B6 than most other fruits. Figs contain 110 mg of vitamin B6 per 100g.
Figs played an important part in the diet of both the ancient Greeks and Romans. The ancient Greeks fed large quantities to their athletes, the Spartans, in the belief that the fruit encouraged strength and swiftness. The Roman's fed fresh figs to their slaves, particularly the agricultural workers, but dried figs were also widely consumed.

I am an architecture student and i just barely started with physics. I have a solution but i am not really sure if it is correct. Any help is greatly appreciated.
To Dan_B, where does the 7N from the first equation come from?
Start by summing moment of forces about connection B and setting them equal to zero, since the beam is in static equilibrium. The equation should look like this:
M_total = 0 = (100 N)(2 m) + (600 N)(sin45)(5 m) - (600 N)(cos45)(0.2 m) - Ay*(7 N)
Since you know that the connection at A is a roller, it can only have a vertical force. Solve the above equation for Ay and that's the reaction at point A.
To solve for the reaction at B, sum all vertical force components and set them equal to zero, again multiplying the 600 N force by sin and cos of the force for vertical and horizontal components, respectively. This should result in the following two equations:
X_total = 0 = (600 N)(cos45) - Bx
Y_total = 0 = Ay - (600 N)(sin45) - 100 N - 200 N + By
Since you'll have solved Ay already, each of these two equations only has one unknown so you can solve you each. Since you now have both the vertical (y) and horizontal (x) components of the reaction at B you can easily express as a vector, or as a single force acting at an angle using trig.
